Santiago, April 14, 2016.- The Galician bodywork manufacturer Castrosua recently delivered a total of four units of its Magnus.E model and one Stellae unit to the operator Autocares Jaén. With a very versatile appearance and technical characteristics that make up a high-quality, accessible, and resistant vehicle (which implies lower maintenance costs for operators), the Magnus.E is the Castrosua Group model specifically designed for local and medium-distance services (mainly for carrying out passenger transport services on the outskirts of cities).
Each of the four units delivered to Autocares Jaén, bodied on a Scania KUB 4×2 chassis, measures 13 meters in length and has 49 Sunviauto Arondo seats. They also incorporate Hannover destination signs, an electric ramp from Hidrel with space for 2 passengers with reduced mobility, and Hispacold 12 L+ air conditioning. In addition, as extra equipment, they include bike racks; USB ports; a rear-view and front camera with a recorder; and a hands-free Bluetooth system.
Stellae
On the other hand, the Stellae delivered to this Jaén-based company has been bodied on a MAN RR2 chassis. It measures 13 meters long and 3.6 meters high and is equipped with a Hidrel lift platform with anchoring for one passenger with reduced mobility; Hanover destination signs; Hispacold 12 L+ air conditioning; LED interior and Full-LED exterior lighting; cameras in the luggage compartment area with a recorder; and an Actia audiovisual system. In addition, this Stellae has 59 Sunviauto Ligerus seats.
The Stellae model is specifically intended for medium and long-distance routes and discretionary transport services. It is a bodywork highly valued by bus and coach drivers for its reliability and robustness, as well as for its special attention to the ergonomics of the driver’s position. The Stellae has incorporated new components and materials, taking advantage of the entry into force of the Euro VI regulations, to improve the structural resistance of the vehicles and reduce their weight.
