The new buses measure 12 meters, have 3 doors, are low-floor, and are powered by Compressed Natural Gas. They also comply with the European EURO VI low-emission standard, on a MAN A22 chassis.
The new vehicles were presented by the mayor of the city, Juan Espadas, last Monday, January 30th, and were attended by executives from Tussam Sevilla and Grupo Castrosua, among others. They have a capacity for 27 seated passengers plus the driver, 52 standing, and two spaces adapted for people with reduced mobility, as well as an automatic access ramp. At the same time, they feature a system of cold air curtains that activate with the air conditioning system when it is running and the doors are open, thus improving the performance of these systems and passenger comfort.
The vehicles are also equipped with low heat transmission glass, and large sliding windows have been added to increase air renewal capacity while the vehicle is in motion. They also have an anti-vandalism closure for the driver’s station, an anti-abandonment system, and USB ports for both the driver and passengers.
Soon, 10 articulated City Versus bodies, 18 meters long, will be delivered to Tussam Sevilla.
