- It is a body designed for carrying out peripheral passenger transport services
Santiago, September 19, 2016.- The Galician bodybuilder Castrosua recently delivered three units of its Magnus.E low entry model to the transport operator Soler i Sauret S.A., based in the Catalan town of San Feliu de Llobregat. Thus, this Barcelona-based company renews its trust in Grupo Castrosua for another year by choosing to incorporate new units developed by this company into its fleet.
With a very versatile image and technical characteristics that make up a high-quality, accessible, and durable vehicle (which implies lower maintenance costs for operators), the Magnus.E is the model from Grupo Castrosua specifically designed for commuter and medium-distance services (mainly for carrying out passenger transport services in the outskirts of cities).
Characteristics of the delivered units
Two of the three units delivered to Soler i Sauret are identical to each other. Built on a Scania KUB 6×2 diesel chassis, Class I, they incorporate a Thermoking X900 box air conditioning system and a Fogmaker fire detection system. In addition to this, they are equipped with a Masats telescopic ramp, BQB DOT LED destination signs, and 53 Fainsa Metropolis 3.0 seats. In parallel, they add two spaces for passengers with reduced mobility.
The third unit, 13 meters long, has been built on a MAN RC2 chassis. Class I, it incorporates, like the previous ones, a Thermoking X900 box air conditioning system and a Fogmaker fire suppression system. It is equipped with 41 Fainsa Metropolis 3.0 seats and pre-installation for ticket validating and vending machines.
All vehicles comply with school transport regulations.
