Between April 16th and 19th, the Portuguese city of Braga will host the FICIS 2015 fair. International Forum of Smart and Sustainable Cities, whose objective is to stimulate the connection between Northern Portugal and Galicia (Atlantic Axis) through the dissemination of innovative and development proposals, linked to the field of Smart Cities, which favor social and territorial cohesion in this geographical area.
Our company, Grupo Castrosua, will have a very active participation in this forum, where we will take the opportunity to exhibit a model of our New City vehicle. This is our new bodywork specially designed for the urban segment, which replaces the City Versus model.
The New City is a vehicle that focuses on sustainability and environmental protection, while improving accessibility, safety, and passenger comfort. It is currently operational in two Spanish cities: Vigo and Gijón.
Specifically, the bus we will exhibit in Braga (the only passenger transport vehicle on display at this important forum in Northern Portugal) has been loaned by Vitrasa, the concessionaire of the urban bus service for the Vigo City Council.
