Santiago, June 20, 2016.- – Grupo Castrosua recently completed the delivery of a New City model unit to the Jaén-based company Herederos de José Castillo, bodied on a MAN A22 diesel chassis. The New City, winner of the Red Dot Award, is Grupo Castrosua’s offering for the urban segment. The bodywork combines modernity and technology to create a bus with accentuated lines and a distinctive aesthetic. This model offers significant benefits to operators and users. In addition to its aesthetic appearance, the New City also stands out for its powerful technical development and structural framework. Taking advantage of the Euro VI launch, the vehicle aims to reduce weight while maintaining its unmistakable robustness.
Technical Characteristics
This is the sixth Castrosua body delivered to this Jaén company so far this year. This New City measures 12 meters and provides two spaces for passengers with reduced mobility. It includes an automatic and manual ramp from Hidrel, Hanover destination displays, and an Hispacold 12L+ air conditioning system.
In addition, it features USB connectors in the two platform areas for people with reduced mobility, a reversing camera, the Mobil Eye system, pre-installations for ticket machines and vending machines, and an interior and exterior LED lighting system. This New City also incorporates 28 Fainsa Metrópolis 1.0 seats.
