As you know, at Grupo Castrosua we have 65 official workshops. We have 5 in Spain and 3 abroad. In recent months, we have interviewed several workshops, and this time it’s the turn of Recasur S.L., an official service workshop of Grupo Castrosua and one of the most important.
Today, we chat with Ramón Guerrero, manager and founder of Recasur S.L, to ask him some questions about his workshop.

Ramón Guerrero Borreguero (Manager) and Jesús Algaba Franco (Electrician)
Where is the workshop located and what services does it offer?
Our Recasur workshop is located in El Viso del Alcor, a municipality in the province of Seville, and we offer repairs for bus and coach bodies. Among the many services we offer are sheet metal and paint repairs, both interior and exterior, replacement of floors, roofs, sides, electrical work, and a long etcetera, excluding mechanics.
What is the size of the workshop?
Currently, Recasur has a surface area of approximately 2500 m2 where people with different specializations work to provide comprehensive service in bodywork repair.

How many employees does Recasur S.L. have today?
Recasur’s journey over its almost 40 years of existence has resulted in a great team of indispensable people for the company. It currently has 17 employees with a long and complete track record.
And out of curiosity, how do you handle training?
It’s more difficult now, but before, young people would come during the summer when school was out, and those who were interested would end up staying at the workshop after the school holidays.
For our part, we haven’t needed training related to bodywork. However, we have attended several electronics courses.

In what year was Recasur S.L. founded?
Recasur’s activity began in February 1983, and since then, it has been dedicated to the repair of bus and, above all, coach bodies in the southern region of Spain.

In all these years, something interesting must have happened. Could you tell us about some of the workshop’s most significant milestones?
One of the most significant milestones we achieved was building a tram entirely out of wood. Without a doubt, it was a very beautiful and peculiar job that we still remember fondly today.

We’d like to know what you have in the workshop. What machinery or technology do you have?
We have all the necessary machinery to carry out our work: a press brake, lifts, special paints, a paint booth, etc.
Do you work for all types of clients?
Yes, we work for all types of clients. The truth is that my relationship with bodybuilders predates the establishment of Recasur. I used to work in a cooperative before deciding to set up my own workshop.

What is the relationship between Recasur S.L. and Grupo Castrosua?
The relationship with Castrosua has been very good from the beginning, over 36 years ago. We have exceptionally traveled across half of Spain for Castrosua, which we don’t normally do, but the relationship is so good that we have moved to work with you. We have also always tried to provide you with good after-sales service.
Finally, would you like to highlight anything else about Recasur S.L.?
In addition to being an official service workshop for Grupo Castrosua, we also repair discretionary vehicles and are therefore an official workshop for other brands and bodybuilders.
To conclude, at Grupo Castrosua, we thank Ramón Guerrero again for the time he has dedicated to us, as well as the work that he and the rest of the Recasur team do every day to offer the best service to our clients. After-sales service is a fundamental part of Castrosua, and we are very proud to have great professionals like them.
For our part, we will continue to tell you a bit more about the life of our bodywork on our blog, a faithful reflection of the commitment we undertook more than 70 years ago to the reliability, strength, and durability of our buses and coaches.
