- Following the retirement of Pedro J. Juan Boix, Insular’s manager to date, Inés takes on the new position at a key moment for Insucar.
At the end of March 2023, the appointment of Inés López Martel as the new Manager of Insular Carrocera S.A. (Insucar) becomes effective after a brief period of introduction and information transfer prior to the imminent retirement of Pedro J. Juan Boix.
Inés joins Insular Carrocera, the official service workshop for Grupo Castrosua in the Canary Islands, at a crucial time with the aim of developing and expanding the current business plan of the company located in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Inés López, originally from Gran Canaria, has more than 14 years of professional experience, during which she has held positions related to production, sales, and management. All of this within the same family-rooted company, just like Insucar. Inés is a Technical Telecommunications Engineer and holds an Executive Master’s in Business Administration. She is accustomed to direct and close customer interaction and also has experience managing teams, both in the more operational or productive aspects and in other management areas.
Inés takes on this role at a key moment for Insucar, in a context of transformation towards new mobility and with the aim of continuing to value our commitment to our customers in the Canary Islands, necessarily connected with the strategic lines of Grupo Castrosua.
