Interview with Jesús Gómez

1) In which department do you work? How long have you been with the company?

I have been working at the company for 18 years, although I have been a member of the company’s football team for longer: 27 years. I started during José Manuel Castro’s time, which is why I am honored to receive the award that bears his name.

2) How do you think you have contributed to improving your work environment in the company?

Simply by not doing to others what I would not like to be done to me. I try to be a good person and value people in their work, offer solutions to the problems each person has, and when I was a supervisor, be one of the team, lending a hand whenever needed.

3) What does it mean to you to have received an award voted on by your own colleagues?

It means a lot to me, it’s the best birthday gift I could have received. There is nothing more gratifying than an award given by your own colleagues, especially one bearing the name of José Manuel Castro, with all that he represents.

I thanked my colleagues for the award via WhatsApp. I hope to remain the same after this recognition. Otherwise, I know my colleagues will be there to prevent me from getting a big head!

Interview with Severo Lorenzo

1) In which department do you work?

In the finishing section, where I have been for 11 years.

2) How do you think you have contributed to optimizing your work environment in the company?

Starting from the basis that I work on assembling sides, I try to do my job only once, and to achieve this, I take my own notes and make my own plans, marking measurements, veneer distribution, etc. This way, I speed up my work.

3) What does it mean to you to have received an award voted on by your own colleagues?

It is an honor that my colleagues thought of me, it makes me feel valued and encourages me to continue improving both professionally and personally.
