Our General Director Pedro J. Juan, along with our Industrial Manager, Javier Vilela, and two colleagues from the R&D+i department visited CTAG last week.
On this occasion, we were received by Ana Paul, Director of Technological Innovation, and Luis Moreno, General Director of CTAG, among others.
Its General Director, Luis Moreno, gave us a comprehensive presentation of the institution and explained that they work, among other things, in 4 main areas:
- Passive Safety, where they have a Joint Venture with Idiada (CTAG-IDIADA Safety Technology).
- Electronics and ITS – which includes a design and styling area with competencies in HMI (Human Machine Interface).
- Materials, Processes and Calculation.
- Testing and Validations.
The visit focused on getting to know their facilities and, above all, on showing us their capabilities. Particularly interesting for us was to verify CTAG’s potential in:
- New materials, smart materials, sensorization.
- Comfort and interior; Connectivity; ADAS and autonomous driving; systems for electromobility.
- Acoustics and vibration laboratories. Engine testing.
- Industrial processes, collaborative robotics. Ergonomics.
CTAG develops validation protocols for all of the above, and carries out the validations themselves on behalf of their clients.
Grupo Castrosua and CTAG maintain a close relationship in various collaborations and projects over the years.
