Santiago, November 26, 2015.- Grupo Castrosua promoted an open house this Thursday at the Anuncibai Palace, located in the Alava town of Llodio, to showcase the advantages of its Stellae model and the company’s strength in the intercity road passenger transport segment, to which this bodywork belongs, to potential clients from Northern Spain.
Members of the commercial team of the Galician company were available to operators interested in learning about the potential of the Stellae model, clarifying their doubts, and explaining the different technical details of the bodywork. The event was attended by numerous visitors, particularly professionals linked to the transport sector.
The Stellae is a model valued by bus and coach drivers for its reliability and robustness, as well as for its special attention to the ergonomics of the driver’s position. Thus, the model has incorporated new components and materials, taking advantage of the entry into force of the Euro VI regulations, to improve the structural resistance of the vehicles and reduce their weight.
Technical Characteristics
Configurable on 12, 13, or 15-meter platforms, the Stellae bodywork accommodates between 50 and 71 seats and is manufactured in two different heights – 3.45 or 3.60 meters. The Stellae exhibited in Llodio has been bodied on a MAN RR2 480 HP chassis and has a length of 12.9 meters and a height of 3.60 meters. In addition, it incorporates Hispacold 12 L+ air conditioning system, a bunk with partitions, a camera in the central door and for reversing, and luggage compartments above the rear axles.
It also features LED profiling on the step and aisle, pre-installation for a front destination board, a pre-heater, and a Blaupunkt hands-free system. In parallel, it is equipped with Emar Kiel Avance 2050 seats, which include footrests. The Stellae bodywork presented at this open house was delivered a few months ago by Grupo Castrosua to the company Autocares Balbino, an operator based in Bilbao.
