- First manufacturer in the sector to receive AENOR certification
Grupo Castrosua has obtained the AENOR frente al COVID certificate for its companies Castrosua, Carsa, and Insucar, and is the first manufacturer in the sector to receive it.
Since the declaration of the health emergency due to COVID-19, Grupo Castrosua has been working to face this exceptional situation, always safeguarding the health of its workers and their environment. That is why they decided to take a further step by certifying the proper application of good practices in an industrial line of risk management within the Group’s Companies through a third-party audit by AENOR.
To this end, after reviewing and analyzing various offers from accredited certification bodies, they decided to entrust this task to AENOR, a certification company that offers a guarantee of experience, prestige, and technical and international recognition. AENOR supports good practices by verifying the established protocols and measures and their effective implementation, according to its own methodology with guidelines for the design, implementation, and certification of response protocols for COVID-19.
The evaluation carried out by Aenor on Grupo Castrosua assesses aspects such as risk management, occupational health management, training, information and communications developed, protocols established for various scenarios, organizational measures (shifts, contact tracing, capacity control, distancing, separation screens), protection measures (use of personal protective equipment), as well as good cleaning and hygiene practices, among others.
The evidence of the proper application of good practices in coronavirus management by Grupo Castrosua has led them to obtain the AENOR certificate, being the first manufacturers in the sector to receive it. For Grupo Castrosua, offering the highest guarantees of safety and health to protect its employees and collaborators is a key and vitally important aspect.
