Grupo Castrosua has launched the Development and Well-being Office, a project that begins with the greatest of enthusiasm. This office is born with the purpose of reinforcing and continuing to lead an active role in creating a healthy environment that promotes personal and professional growth and development, and provides resources and tools to improve the quality of life and well-being levels of its employees. Therefore, and now more than ever due to the circumstances of the environment, the provision of this office represents the creation of a project of specialization and exclusive dedication.
The psychosocial health and well-being of the people who make up Grupo Castrosua are and will be a priority for the group and, of course, for its president Juan Luis Castro, the driving force behind this initiative. To carry it out, they have Laura Vergara, who has joined to lead this office and will be exclusively dedicated to it. Laura holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Santiago de Compostela, is a specialist in Positive Psychology, and has a Postgraduate Degree in Talent Management from the European University of Business.
From the office, accompaniment, help, and advice will be provided in all aspects that affect the integral development and well-being of individuals. In this way, aspects such as personal growth and self-improvement, emotional health, development of skills and competencies, meaning and purpose, coherence with values, management by strengths, among others, will be addressed.
Employees represent the main driving force that will make this development and well-being office function. Thus, all actions promoted from this area will be based on the needs and expectations of this group. Work will be carried out with a practical, dynamic, and constantly evolving methodology where a varied repertoire of initiatives designed ad hoc will be offered according to the context and objectives of each team.
While it is true that the care and establishment of healthy habits in the workplace are becoming an increasingly recurring topic in companies, we are still far from seeing this area as an exclusively dedicated department as Grupo Castrosua will do. The creation of this development and well-being office represents a strong commitment from the group that only reaffirms its concern and consideration for its employees and, of course, represents a new innovation, this time on its most valuable asset, people.
