- The fleet renewal tender is planned within the Framework Agreement for the award of bus supplies under lease for the period 2014-2019
Santiago, October 30, 2014.- Transportes Interurbanos de Tenerife (Titsa) awarded the tender for the development of 53 buses in renting modality to Volvo España several months ago. This is the first time a public company has expanded its fleet through a public tender under this modality.
Grupo Castrosua will also benefit from this tender as it will be responsible for the bodywork of these 53 units, which are intended for urban and interurban segments.
Public Event
To highlight this award, a public event was held at the last edition of FIAA in Madrid, attended by the president and general manager of Titsa, Víctor Manuel Pérez and Jacobo Kalitovics, respectively; the commercial director of urban buses for Volvo España, Óscar Martirena, and the national commercial director of our company, Beatriz Castro.
Once the service period, which has been set at seven years, has elapsed, the vehicles will be withdrawn. The fleet renewal tender is included within the Framework Agreement for the award of bus supplies under lease for the period 2014-2019.
