The Madrid-based operator Empresa De Blas, belonging to Grupo Arriva, has recently acquired two Magnus.E bodies specifically designed for commuter services.
These 13m long Magnus.E LE bodies, with 2 doors and connected notification, on a Volvo B8R chassis comply with regulations 107 and 66 and are approved for school transport.
They stand out for not having shelves or steps at the front and feature an interior luggage rack, windows with folding stanchions and a rear window, hot/cold air conditioning and anti-fog, convection throughout the vehicle, and air curtains at the doors, all to make the traveler’s experience more pleasant.
Both have 45 seats with seatbelts, space for 50 standing passengers, and a wheelchair space with an ischial support and the possibility of facing forward or backward because it has rails with anchors. It has a manual and an automatic ramp, line and stop signs, a rear-view camera and a camera at the central door, a fire suppression system, and pre-installation for video surveillance cameras, SAE, canceler, and vending machine.
The driver’s area has also been considered with a seat with a headrest and lumbar support, an individual air conditioning fan, an electric driver’s door, a sliding window, an anti-vandal lock, a footrest, a partition behind the driver, and electric windshield curtains.
With these two units, Empresa De Blas has now purchased a total of 380 units from Grupo Castrosua since the first unit in the 1980s. Thank you for trusting us!.
