Grupo Castrosua has delivered three Magnus.E low entry units to Tranvías de Sevilla, bodied on Volvo chassis. They comply with R107 and R66.02 legislation and are homologated in Class II.
These units, designed for medium distances, are 13 meters long, have two electric doors, and feature 41 seats with seatbelts, space for two wheelchairs also with seatbelts, and can accommodate up to 35 standing passengers.
The new Tranvías buses do not have overhead luggage racks in the front area, have large access points to chassis components from the interior, and are equipped with hot/cold air conditioning and anti-fog systems, windows with side panels on both sides, all interior lighting is LED, front, side, and rear destination displays with two 18.5” TFT screens and a 7” monitor, as well as a manual ramp and pre-installation for bike racks on all vehicles. For passenger convenience, there are 8 USB ports on grab poles throughout the vehicle.
The driver’s area includes a door, grab handle, sliding window, air-suspension seat with headrest, curtains, electric mirrors, and the right-side mirror with a camera, as well as a USB port.
The first unit was exhibited and delivered at FIAA after its display on the Group’s stand at the fair. The following units are being delivered at the beginning of this month.
Tranvías de Sevilla is dedicated to regular bus passenger transport between the municipalities of Seville, San Juan de Aznalfarache, Mairena del Aljarafe, Gelves, Coria del Río, Palomares del Río, La Puebla del Río, Almensilla, and Isla Mayor.
With these three new units, a total of 12 have now been delivered to Tranvías de Sevilla since last year.
