Recently, Autobuses Urbanos de Elche (AUESA) received 6 vehicles with Castrosua’s New City bodywork on a Scania chassis, approved in Class I and complying with Regulation 107.
These vehicles measure 12m in length, have 3 electric doors, and are equipped with 24 Ideo 10 seats from Emarkiel. Additionally, they have 2 designated spaces with seatbelts for people with reduced mobility and room for 74 standing passengers.
The new buses for Elche are equipped with Hispacold air conditioning, a Masats telescopic ramp, front, side, and rear destination displays, as well as a stop request display, a reversing camera, and two cameras at the doors with TFT screens. They also feature a high front partition and lower side partitions, stainless steel poles with push buttons in the direction of travel, and a specific button for pregnant passengers. All of them have a wood-finish floor, radio, microphone, and speakers, as well as two USB ports in the platform area and two more on the sides.
For its part, the driver’s area includes a door, handrail, a two-leaf sliding window, a coat rack, a footrest, a clear methacrylate partition behind the driver, a central lower mirror with an integrated camera monitor, and electric and heated exterior mirrors.
Autobuses Urbanos de Elche (AUESA) has been providing service in the city for 29 years and has trusted this new bodywork for two consecutive years. With these latest deliveries, they now have 10 New City buses in their fleet.
