Santiago, May 16, 2016.-Grupo Castrosua continues to fulfill its 2016 order book and has recently formalized the delivery of nine new units of its Stellae bodywork, the Galician bodybuilder’s alternative for the interurban and discretionary transport segment.
To the traditional reliability and robustness that characterizes Castrosua vehicles, this model has added, taking advantage of the entry into force of the Euro VI regulations, new components and materials in order to improve its structural resistance and reduce its weight. These are technical improvements that allow for the configuration of a profitable, resistant, and durable model in which quality and price come together to form an unbeatable tandem.
Socitransa
Two of these Stellae vehicles have been delivered to the company Socitransa S.A., based in the Ourense town of Verín. These units have been bodied on a MAN RR4 chassis with 480 HP. They measure 15 meters long and 3.6 meters high and each has a total of 71 seats. With Thermoking Athenia air conditioning system, they are equipped with an additional diesel tank with a total capacity of 1,000 liters of fuel; full LED exterior lighting; cornering lights; sockets and double USB ports for each pair of seats (located on the sides); Hanover front destination display, camera on doors and luggage compartments, and 3 interior monitors; as well as a bathroom and bunk, among other features.
Autos Ramón Outeiral
The vehicle delivered to the company Ramón Outeiral S.L, based in Boiro (A Coruña), has been bodied on a Mercedes OC 500 RF chassis with 430 HP. It measures 13 meters long and 3.6 meters high and also features Thermoking Athenia air conditioning. In addition, it has a Bosch Professional Line multimedia system with integrated hands-free system; luggage compartments over the wheel arches; extra-tinted windows; Pedro Sanz pre-heater with programmer; reversing sensors, double USB sockets per pair of seats; full LED exterior lighting; cornering lights; camera on doors, central vacuum unit located in the luggage compartment, parking lights, and Hannover front destination display, among other technical features.
Saiz Garrido
Another of the companies to which a Stellae unit has been delivered is Saiz Garrido S.L., from Segovia. It measures 13 meters long and 3.6 meters high and features a Thermoking Athenia air conditioning system; pre-heater with programmer; full LED exterior lighting; homologation for 55 and 59 seats; and camera on doors.
Rotratour
The vehicle destined for Rotratour S.L. has been bodied on a MAN RR2 chassis with 440 HP. It is equipped with 59 Sunviauto Conturo Sport seats, Thermoking Athenia air conditioning, and measures 13 meters long and 3.6 meters high. In addition, it features a DHRB lift platform and a track for 6 passengers with reduced mobility, heated windshield, camera on the door, cornering lights, and full LED exterior lighting, among other technical particularities.
Autocares Calvo e Hijos
The Palencia-based company Autocares e Hijos S.L. also received a unit of the Castrosua Stellae bodywork. Among other unique features, this vehicle –bodied on a Mercedes OC 500 chassis– is equipped with Hispacold air conditioning, full LED exterior lighting, cornering lights, and 55 Emarkiel Avance 1020 model seats with 4-position footrests. This Stellae measures 13 meters long and 3.45 meters high.
Framar
The Stellae bodywork delivered to Framar S.L., based in Granada, has been bodied on a MAN RR2 chassis with 440 HP. It measures 13 meters long and 3.6 meters high and is equipped with Hispacold 12 L air conditioning (cooling only), luggage compartments over the rear wheel arches, and pre-installation for a pre-heater. This unit has 55 seats, Emar Kiel Avance 1020 model with footrests, central armrest, and magazine rack. It is also equipped with an Aesys 90×16 front destination display with integrated console, USB ports in the luggage racks, camera on doors, full LED exterior lighting, and cornering lights.
Francisco Medina
Finally, the Stellae vehicle destined for the company Francisco Medina, based in the Cadiz town of Jerez de la Frontera, was bodied on a MAN RR2 chassis with 480 HP. It has 59 seats, measures 13 meters long and 3.6 meters high. In addition, it is equipped with full LED exterior lighting, camera on doors, and pre-installation of a DHRB lift platform with a track for two passengers with reduced mobility.
Autocares Presas
Lastly, the Stellae delivered to Autocares Presas, based in the Pontevedra town of Lalín, has been bodied on a Volvo B11 R model chassis. The coach measures 13 meters long and 3.45 meters high and incorporates 48 Conturo Sport Top Luxe model seats. It has Hispacold 12 L+ air conditioning, Spheros pre-heater, and a full LED lighting system. Finally, the unit, which has been bodied on a Volvo B11R model chassis, is equipped with USB sockets located in the luggage racks for all seats.
