This is a 13m, 2-door Stellae built on a MAN RR2 chassis, recently acquired by Autocares Jaén (Castillo). This vehicle complies with regulations 107 and 66.02, as well as school transport standards, and is homologated in Class III.
The Stellae features 59 seats with footrests, plus the driver’s seat and a seat for the guide. It is equipped with hot/cold air conditioning and anti-fog, a lifting platform, and rails for a person with reduced mobility.
This vehicle, with luggage compartments and interior parcel racks, includes a multimedia system, two TFT monitors, an MP3 player, DVD player, GPS, microphones for the driver and guide, as well as cameras at the central door and for reversing, and video surveillance cameras with a video recorder.
The exterior lighting includes cornering lights and full LED headlights. Inside, the lighting is LED with individual reading lights. It also features front and rear destination signs, and a dual USB port for every pair of seats.
The driver’s area is equipped with a partition, electric window, double windshield curtain, 12V cigarette lighter and USB socket, document holder, waste bin, and a refrigerator. Additionally, the exterior mirrors are adjustable and heated.
With this new unit delivered, there are now 4 Stellae vehicles that make up part of the Autocares Jaén fleet.
