Grupo Castrosua has delivered a 13-meter long, two-door Magnus.E LE unit, on a Scania KUB 4×2 chassis, to Empresa Montes. Doroteo Montes (owner) and Oscar Urdiales (workshop manager) attended the delivery and were assisted by Eulalia Rodriguez from Grupo Castrosua’s commercial department.
This unit, approved in Class II, has 39 seats, a space for a wheelchair, and space for up to 39 standing passengers. The vehicle is equipped with hot/cold air conditioning, convection heating throughout the vehicle, destination signs, an automatic ramp, a reversing camera, a camera on the doors, radio, speakers, USB ports on the bars and sides for passengers, and a fire suppression system.
The vehicles also feature a ticket cancelling machine and pre-installation for a vending machine. The driver’s area includes a seat with a headrest, USB port, curtains, coat hook, footrest, and heated electric mirrors. The exterior lights are LED.
Empresa Montes is a Madrid-based operator that has been providing services since 1933. With these latest units, this makes a total of 3 units delivered to Empresa Montes by Castrosua in the last two years, with two more units to be added very soon.
