Empresa Turística de Autobuses S.A. (Etasa), belonging to Grupo Avanza, an ADO company, has recently incorporated 7 buses with Magnus.E LE bodies from Grupo Castrosua and on Volvo B8RLE chassis. All units are approved in Class II, and comply with regulations 107 and 66.02 as well as school regulations.
These Magnus.E measure 13 meters, have 2 doors, and feature 43 seats, space for a wheelchair, and capacity for 30 standing passengers. Among their equipment, they include hot/cold air conditioning, anti-fog system, convection heating throughout the passenger area including the platform, fire suppression system, double manual and automatic ramps, a USB port in the platform area, destination and stop request signs, a rear-view camera on the tailgate with a 7” monitor, battery charging socket, as well as interior luggage racks and a rear windshield.
The driver’s area is equipped with an electric door, sliding window, partition behind the driver, curtains, a USB port, footrest, and a waste bin. Externally, it features electric and heated side mirrors, a right side mirror with a camera, LED low beam headlights, and a charging port on both sides.
Etasa has a fleet of over 100 buses with an average age of less than 4 years and a maximum age of 10. With these 8 new additions, Castrosua has now delivered 15 buses to them in the last two years.
