ALSA has recently acquired 5 Magnus.E body buses on Scania KIB GNC chassis, approved for Class II and complying with regulations 107, 66, and school transport standards, which the operator will use for the services it provides to the Regional Transport Consortium of Madrid.
Four of the five bodies measure 15 meters, have 63 seats and space for 40 standing passengers, and the remaining unit measures 13 meters and has 51 seats. All units have two doors and a space for a person with reduced mobility.
The new buses are equipped with air conditioning, anti-fog, and convection heating throughout the vehicle, as well as luggage racks, interior LED lighting, a fire extinguishing system, front, side, and rear destination signs, a stop request sign, a rear-view camera and a camera on the central door, and USB ports on the sides and poles.
The driver’s area pays attention to every detail with a driver’s door, a sliding window, a partition behind the driver, electric and manual curtains, a pneumatic driver’s seat with armrests, a radio with USB, and a USB port. On the exterior, these buses have two GNC charging ports, electric and heated mirrors (the right one with a camera), as well as vertically opening luggage compartments with interior lighting.
One of these 15-meter units was exhibited at Grupo Castrosua’s stand during the FIAA fair in Madrid from May 23rd to 26th. Grupo Castrosua thanks ALSA for the loan and the trust placed in them with this new purchase.
With this acquisition, ALSA continues its policy of progressively incorporating clean technology vehicles, such as GNC, with the aim of providing increasingly environmentally sustainable transport services.
