On Monday, February 27, 2017, the presentation of the new 4 New City bodies that Grupo Castrosua recently delivered to Unauto Toledo, belonging to Grupo Ruiz, took place.
Members of the Toledo City Council, Unauto itself, Grupo Ruiz, Iveco, and Grupo Castrosua were present at the presentation.
These vehicles measure 10.5 meters, have two doors (with a lock above 4 km/hour), have been bodied on an IVECO Urbanway GNC Euro VI chassis, and comply with regulation 107. They have space for 24 seats (plus 2 jump seats), a space for a wheelchair, a baby seat, as well as space for 60 standing passengers.
These units are equipped with air conditioning, anti-fog, two ramps (one electric and one manual), two integrated and foldable handrails on each side of the glass, a reversing camera, pre-installation for the SAE (Public Transport Information System), ticket vending and validation machines, USB radio and speakers, three destination displays, stainless steel poles, and two double USB ports on the central platform.
The driver’s area is equipped with an electrically locking door, footrest, roller blinds, partition, sliding driver’s window, and electric, adjustable, and heated exterior mirrors.
The four vehicles have been branded with the new image, and within a year and a half, all company units will have been renewed.
