The Burgos Urban Transport Service has just received five new units with Castrosua’s City Versus bodywork on a MAN chassis for its bus fleet. Following the award of an initial tender for three units, which have been operating on the city’s streets since January, a second tender for five units has now been concluded, bringing the total to eight.
As on the previous occasion, these are five 12-meter long vehicles powered by Compressed Natural Gas. They have three doors, a double ramp, 27 seats, two spaces for PRM (passengers with reduced mobility), and space for 65 standing passengers. Additionally, they feature hot-cold air conditioning, anti-fog, and foldable side windows on both sides.
All vehicles are equipped with a reversing camera and cameras on the central and rear doors with a 7” monitor, as well as surveillance cameras. In addition to speakers and a CD radio, they have destination displays and a fire suppression system.
The driver’s area pays attention to all details, with a sliding window, electric door, roller blinds, USB port, footrest, document holder, and electric and heated right-side exterior mirrors and manual and heated left-side exterior mirrors.
Burgos’ total fleet stands at 63 vehicles, 8 of which have been delivered by Grupo Castrosua in less than a year.
