On Monday, February 6, the 14 Magnus E LE GNC bodies that Empresa Martín, belonging to Grupo Ruiz, has acquired from Grupo Castrosua were presented.
The event took place at the Fuenlabrada fairgrounds and was attended by the Minister of Transport, Pedro Rollán, accompanied by the mayor of Fuenlabrada, Manuel Robles Delgado; the manager of the Regional Transport Consortium, Alfonso Sánchez Vicente; and the deputy minister of Transport, Housing and Infrastructure, Jesús Valverde Bocanegra, as well as executives from Grupo Ruiz, the president of Confebus, and representatives from Grupo Castrosua, MAN, and Scania.
Technical characteristics
The units measure 13 meters in length, have 2 doors, and seven units have been bodied on Scania KUB 4X2 GNC chassis and the other seven on MAN A69 GNC chassis. All comply with the specifications of Regulation 107 and Regulation 66, and are approved as class II.
The Magnus E from Empresa Martín have 39 seats plus the driver, a space for PRM (persons with reduced mobility), and space for 33 standing passengers. They also feature automatic and manual ramps, air conditioning, anti-fog heating/cooling, gray parsol windows with folding side panels, and front, side, and rear destination signs.
Other features include a camera in the central door, a reversing camera, and pre-installation for a vending machine with an extendable and rotating base, the SAE (Automated Information System), and two ticket validating machines. For passenger enjoyment, they are equipped with an MP3 radio, also with an independent speaker for the driver, and two double USB ports in the platform area.
The driver’s area is equipped with a driver’s door with an electric lock and an upper glove compartment with a push-button and key, and electric, adjustable, and heated exterior mirrors.
