Santiago, March 17, 2016. – Carsa, a company belonging to Grupo Castrosua, headquartered in the Bamio industrial estate (in Vilagarcía de Arousa), hosted an open house this afternoon primarily for the families of its workers. More than 60 people participated in the initiative, gaining firsthand insight into the factory’s facilities and work environment.
The event’s mission was to foster closer ties between employees, their families, and the company. Following this afternoon’s event, Castrosua’s facilities in Santiago de Compostela will host the company’s next open house, scheduled for March 31.
Specialization in Stellae Model Manufacturing
Following the refurbishment of its production plant, inaugurated last year by the Xunta’s Minister of Economy, Carsa is specializing in the manufacturing of Stellae model units, Grupo Castrosua’s offering for medium and long-distance transportation.
The Stellae is a robust body that presents an alternative to the existing offerings in the intercity sector. In addition to the traditional reliability and sturdiness that characterize Grupo Castrosua vehicles, the Stellae model has incorporated new components and materials to enhance the structural resistance and reduce the weight of the vehicles.
