For those of you who don’t know it, we bring you a specialized web portal, mainly focused on offering information about the global production of buses and coaches. It is Builderbuses.net. A website that has managed to establish itself as an informative benchmark for all those interested in knowing who’s who in the current bus bodywork sector.
Its author, Andrea Astolfi, has carried out an immense documentation effort to detail the profiles of the main companies that, across the globe, operate in the same field of activity as our company.
Information by Continents
The portal structures the information by continents and is not limited to offering data on bus bodywork companies, but also on brands that manufacture chassis or other companies that produce auxiliary components and accessories for customizing buses and coaches (electronics, mechanics, air conditioning, or seats, among other aspects).
Of course, Grupo Castrosua is among the companies referenced by Builderbuses.net within the European scope. Along with our company, Astolfi’s website lists a total of 81 more bodybuilders, of which approximately 10% are Spanish. Major companies in our sector such as the Turkish Otokar, the Dutch Ebusco, or the German Eurabus are some of those referenced under the European heading.
By clicking on each company’s icon, a screen appears that provides information on the main market segments in which the company in question operates, as well as the main products it markets.
The Rise of China
After Europe, America is the second continent with the most referenced companies on Builderbuses.net, a total of 57. Of these, 37 are headquartered in North America, mainly in the USA, and 20 in various countries in the southern part of the continent. Important companies such as Collins, Ameritrans, Diamond, or Mascarello are some of those described.
In addition, Asia ranks as the third continent in terms of the number of bodybuilders, with 56 included in the directory promoted by Astolfi. In quantitative terms, China is one of the countries with the most presence, as relevant companies in our sector such as Yutong, Golden Dragon, King Long, Higer, or Asiastar come from there.
The list of companies is completed by 10 based in Oceania – including Volgreen or BCI – whose details are also reported in detail by Builderbuses.net, and 4 located in Africa, among which MCV or Malva stand out.
