Auvaca once again trusts Castrosua to renew its fleet. This time it acquires a fully low-floor City Versus body on a MAN A22 chassis for the service it offers between the city’s train stations. The unit, approved in Class II and compliant with school transport regulations, features a very versatile interior design as the front area adapts to specific needs, equipping either all seats (40 seats) or, alternatively, 28 seats and 3 spaces for wheelchair users with tracks.
The 12-meter long, 3-door unit has tracks at the front to mount and dismount 6 pairs of quick-release seats, equivalent to 3 spaces for wheelchair users.
To facilitate access for people with reduced mobility, it is equipped with a telescopic ramp at the central door with optical and acoustic warnings, as well as tracks with corresponding harnesses for the complete safety of wheelchair users.
Among its numerous features, we highlight that it includes Hispacold air conditioning, anti-fog system, convection heating throughout the vehicle, a reversing camera, and door cameras with a 7” monitor for the driver’s view.
In the passenger area, the units have USB ports for charging devices and hanging handles on the overhead racks for their comfort.
The driver’s cabin is ergonomically designed for comfortable and efficient driving. All necessary controls, such as air conditioning, anti-fog, radio, and signage consoles, among others, are housed in the upper dashboard, being easily accessible without interfering with the driver’s visibility.
