Activities for all Castrosua members, led by our Internal Communication Teams

For the third consecutive year, at Grupo Castrosua we have several Internal Communication Teams (ECI) whose main mission is to help spread our company’s corporate culture and foster, among all personnel, a sense of identification and belonging with the values our company wishes to convey.

To achieve these objectives, the Santiago ECI and the Vilagarcía de Arousa ECI – whose members are renewed annually – design a complete agenda of leisure and solidarity activities that help forge bonds of unity among all of us, the employees who make up the company.

Actions Taken

In 2014, the ECI launched a total of eight different activities that were very well attended: the 1st and 2nd Open House Days, the May Solidarity initiative, the 1st Castrosua Indoor Soccer Tournament, the 1st BTT Gathering, the 1st Castrosua Awards edition, and the hot chocolate events in Santiago and Vilagarcía de Arousa were the actions implemented. The most popular, in terms of attendance, was the hot chocolate event in Santiago, which brought together 119 people at our facilities.

The following year, in 2015, in addition to the actions carried out the previous year, a day in the snow was included, as well as the participation of employees from our company in a solidarity race for multiple sclerosis. Alongside this, a paddle tennis championship, a multi-adventure day, and a fishing and hiking day were also launched. Again, the hot chocolate event at our Compostela facilities was the most attended activity, with 158 people participating.

Activities Scheduled for This Year

This year, 2016, two open house days have already been held (one at our Santiago plant and another at Carsa, in Vilagarcía de Arousa). In the coming months, various activities are also planned (some of which may have their dates changed depending on weather conditions). They will, in principle, be the following:
